Beware of…..wait for it……SHEEP!

We had a visit from our local Soil Conservation Board to access our water needs on the farm. GC put up Sanford – our attack ram, so he would not get himself in trouble. The rest of the sheep are ewes and were just kinda milling around. Sanford was putting on quite the show…head butting the gate, blowing, pawing and jumping around in his pen. GC commented to Mr. Soil Conservation that “the girls” were all gentle and only Sanford was a pest.
The two men were leaning on the fence discussing water tanks when one of the twins, Laverne, started nibbling on our visitor’s pants from the rear. Do you see where this is going? Apparently she was not making enough contact to suit her so she dug a little deeper and gripped quite a good chunk of  Mr. Soil Conservation’s bum. “Motherbleeping son-of-a-bleep” says Mr. Soil Conservation. Scared the heck out of GC; he thought Sanford had escaped and nailed the guy. Scared the heck out of Laverne too; GC said she had high-tailed it halfway across the field by the time he turned around.
Mr. Soil Conservation said we needed to post a BEWARE OF SHEEP sign. I hope he still recommends us for water tanks.
