Every year after show season our local 4H Livestock club holds a sale. They put on a free dinner; usually burgers, dogs, sides and desserts made by the local ladies!

There were goats

and pigs

sheep were there also

and lots of cattle.

It’s a lot of fun plus a free dinner! Cookies, pies, cakes and such are also auctioned. GC got the bid on some excellent sourdough pecan rolls. The big bidders are usually local businesses or groups that pooled their money. Everyone is generous and eager to contribute to the 4H’ers.
